Do not take Vitaforce Vitamin B6-50 mg if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the ingredients|This unregistered medicine has not been evaluated by the SAHPRA for its quality, safety or intended use|If you suffer from Parkinson’s disease and you are taking Levodopa medication because vitamin B6 reduces the effects of Levodopa, therefore this product should not be administered to patients taking Levodopa medication|Vitaforce Vitamin B6-50 mg is safe for use during pregnancy and lactation when used orally and appropriately under the supervision of a health care practitioner. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding your baby, please consult your healthcare provider for advice before taking this medicine|Always tell your healthcare provider if you are taking any other medicine. Many medicines may increase the requirements of pyridoxine, such medicines include hydralazine, isoniazid, penicillamine and oral contraceptives|In the event of overdosage, consult your doctor or pharmacist. If neither is available, contact the nearest hospital or poison control centre|Do not take a double dose to make up for forgotten individual doses|Vitaforce Vitamin B6-50 mg can have side effects. Not all side effects reported for this medicine are included in this leaflet. Should your general health worsen or if you experience any untoward effects while taking this medicine, please consult your healthcare provider for advice. Side effects that have been reported include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, allergic reaction, headache and loss of appetite.
