Accutrend Plus Cholesterol teststrips are used with the Accutrend Plus meter.

Accutrend Plus meter users: General practitioners use the Accutrend Plus meter because it is a reliable method to frequently check your cholesterol level at home.

• Strips contain a yellow protective mesh infused with a surfactant
• Glass fiber fleece that works as a separating layer for blood cells
• Reaction film in which the colour formation takes place
• Code on the reverse side, which is read by the meter to confirm strip test identity

Performing a measurement:

• What you need: Your Accutrend Plus instrument
• Test strips for the desired measurements with the related code strip: Accutrend Glucose, Accutrend Cholesterol
• Single-use lancing device
• Alcohol wipe or pad, if required.
• Code the instrument (once per test strip lot)
• Insert the test strip
• Apply blood
• Start measurement by closing the measurement chamber flap
• Display of measurement results
