Each batch is also tested for EPA, DHA, and other omega-3 fatty acid content; oxidation indicators like peroxide value, anisidine value, and TOTOX; environmental pollutants and contaminants like PCDDs, PCDFs, and Dioxin-like PCBs; heavy metals like arsenic, lead, and mercury; and microbial contaminants.
